Its gastronomy is based on its raw materials, its products, which are naturally available: fruit and vegetables, with an outstanding place for bananas, mangoes and avocados, nuts, goat's cheese, fish, wines... Extensive banana plantations occupy a large part of its territory, almond trees in the northwest and vineyards, especially around Fuencaliente.
