During the afternoon of Friday 5th May, in Villa de Mazo, the little ones will be the real protagonists of a new edition of Transvulcania by UTMB®.
As usual, Transvulcania intends to continue to create a quarry and promote the values of trail running among the youngest runners. For this reason, on Friday afternoon the Kids/Junior modality will be held, where children up to 15 years of age will be able to enjoy contact with nature while covering different distances adapted to their age.
-Under 7: Distance 250 metres / 25 metres positive approximately.
-U9: Distance 850 metres / 80 metres positive approximately.
-U11: Distance 2000 metres / 170 metres positive approximately.
-U13: Distance 3000 metres / 250 metres positive approximately. 1 laps of the circuit
-U15: Distance 4000 metres / 340 metres positive approximately. 2 laps of the circuit UNDER 13.
II OPEN TRAIL RACES LA PALMA - KIDS
Transvulcania by UTMB is a race that qualifies for the II Open Trail La Palma kids, which is the first official "cup" of the Canary Islands of mountain races, which brings together children from 6 to 13 years of age.
The U11 and U13 categories of the Kids / Junior Races of Transvulcania by UTMB® are qualifying for this competition, and the U7 and U9 categories are for participation and promotion. Transvulcania by UTMB® joins this circuit, with the aim of promoting sport, and specifically trail running, among the youngest.
