More than 350 children take part in the Kids / Junior Races of Transvulcania by UTMB®.

During the day of Friday 21st October, the real protagonists of this twelfth edition of Transvulcania were the little ones. From 17:00, in the town of Tijarafe, several children's races were held, divided by age.

Many of them will be those who, in the future, will cross the finishing arches of the Ultramarathon, the Marathon or the Half Marathon, but, on this occasion, the aim was to spend an afternoon with the family and enjoy trail running.

The youngest members of the family were the real protagonists of this second day of races in Transvulcania by UTMB® with the Kids / Junior Races.

From 17:00 hours, in the town of Tijarafe, more than 350 children participated in the different distances, U-15, U-13, U-11, U-9, and U-7, divided by age.

Meanwhile, in Los Llanos de Aridane, the distribution of the race bibs was completed, which brought together, on its last day, more than 1,500 runners.

At the same time, the Ultra-Trail® Village, where the main brands in the sector were represented, also closed its doors until next year.

Saturday 22nd marks the start of the big day of Transvulcania by UTMB®. At 7:00 am the Ultramarathon starts from the Faro de Fuencaliente lighthouse, the main race of the event. Half an hour later, at 7:30 a.m., it will be the turn of the Marathon, which will start at Pino de la Virgen, and at 09:00 a.m. the Half Marathon will close the start line from El Roque de los Muchachos.
